Adopt NY

We are all animal lovers at Corey Lynn Calter so we were behind blogger and CLC girl Keiko Lynn 100% when she told us about her fundraiser for Adopt NY. Save the date for December 10th, 7-9 PM, if you're in NYC to take part in the festivities and help such a great cause and be sure to look for some great Corey Lynn Calter pieces at the auction! Get all the details on Keiko's blog here.

PS- Keiko we adore you in the Becca Cardigan :)

Lena Dunham & ID Mag

Were still swooning over Lena Dunham on the cover of ID Magazine in a Corey Lynn Calter blouse this past week. It's such an honor to have one of our pieces on the cover of such an iconic magazine and on someone we admire and respect as much as Lena Dunham. Here are a few more images of our newest CLC gal Lena in the blouse from the shoot for ID Mag.

And of course, the cover shot…

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Happy Thanksgiving Eve!

Hopefully everyone is prepared to cook up a delicious feast tomorrow! If you're like me, you watch football and drink beer all day so by the time the meal is actually ready you're already pretty full. This year I'm actually planning on having leftovers just so I can try out some of these Thanksgiving leftovers recipes.

Sweet and Spicy Turkey Pitas

Stuffing-Stuffed Mushrooms

Open Faced Hot Turkey Sammy

Cranberry-Carrot Muffins

Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving with friends and family!

FashionIndie talks COREY Spring 2013

FashionIndie has a special behind-the-scenes look at the changes in store for Corey Lynn Calter in 2013. They talk about the rebrand for Spring 2013 where Corey Lynn Calter will become COREY and an exclusive collaboration with Seychelles Shoes that produced a playful colorful collection.

The COREY Spring 2013 line was inspired by Henry Darger's “Vivian Girls” (pictured below).

The collection embraces color in a fresh, modern and feminine way and was inspired also in part by actress and “it” girl Nora Zehetner.
